LANDMINE EXPLOSION INJURES THREE LOCAL RESIDENTS IN CHECHNYA

URUS-MARTAN, December 15 (AVN) - As many as two men and a woman in a Zhiguli car were injured during landmine explosion in one of the town streets on Thursday evening, a source in the Urus-Martan temporary interior department told the Military News Agency.

Law-enforcers ID-checked 5,212 people and more than 2,200 vehicles and detained six suspected rebels during the special operation. They also got operative information on the location of the girl kidnapped in Nalchik several days before. She is kept in Urus-Martan and law-enforcers currently are trying to free her.

One more local citizen died in Mozdok hospital and that makes 22 victims who were killed by the terrorist act in Alkhan-Yurt, the Urus-Martan prosecutor's office reported. Aid is provided to all the injured persons and law-enforcers of the military commandant's office and the Urus-Martan temporary interior department have transported products, warm clothes and medicine to them.
