PRESIDENTIAL ENVOY'S DEPUTIES TO CHECK RUSSIA'S KALININGRAD REGION

KALININGRAD, January 18 (AVN) - Deputies of Viktor Cherkesov, presidential envoy to the North-Western federal district, arrived in Kaliningrad on Thursday, a spokesman for the envoy's administration told the Military News Agency.

Valery Bolshakov, Sergei Sviridov, Lyubov Sovershayeva, and Alexander Fyodorov will stay in the region five days.

Bolshakov is charged to inspect control bodies, as well as to evaluate the quality of inspections carried out in the region by the Russian President's Main Control Department.

Sviridov is tasked to analyse personnel policy of the federal executive bodies.

Fyodorov will check if the local legislation corresponds to the Russian Constitution and federal laws and analyse establishment of justice of the peace courts in the region.

Sovershayeva is to take part in the meeting dedicated to transportation promlems. The meeting slated for Friday will be chaired by Russian Transportation Minister Sergei Frank.
