SAMARA, Volga Region, January 22 (AVN) - A mobilisation training session of the Volga military district top brass will take place at the Samara and Chernorechensk garrisons from Tuesday to Thursday, a spokesman for the district headquarters told the Military News Agency.
The session will be supervised by the district commander, Colonel-General Anatoly Sergeyev. It will involve officers of the district's departments and agencies, commanders of units and detachments, officials of the presidential envoy's administration in the Volga federal district, heads and military commandants of the regions forming part of the Volga military district.
Representatives of the Volga district of the Interior Ministry troops, Emergencies Ministry regional centre, Federal Border Guard Service (FBGS) and railroad troops were invited too.
The session will feature a research and practical conference on perfection of combat, operative and mobilisation readiness of the district troops. It will end in a demonstrative field training of district units where capacities of modern armament and combat equipment are to be shown.
