KALININGRAD, February 14 (AVN) - Kaliningrad region Governor Vladimir Yegorov has signed a regulation authorising new appointments in his administration, a spokesman for the Baltic Fleet HR department told the Military News Agency on Wednesday.
Colonel Alexander Zamyatin, secretary of the fleet's military council, is appointed head of the department in charge of governor activities' operational support. Lieutenant-General Ivan Rakhmanin, former commander of the Kaliningrad border guard troops group, is removed from the post of head of the territorial administration bodies department. Rear Admiral Boris Dombrovsky, head of the operations department in the fleet headquarters, took his office.
Zamyatin was transferred to the reserve several days ago. Dombrovsky and some other senior officers working at the region's administration have not yet been transferred to the reserve at present, and the same is true for the 63-year-old governor, said the spokesman.
