LENINGRAD MILITARY DISTRICT LEADERS LEAVING FOR SWEDEN

ST.PETERSBURG, February 26 (AVN) - A delegation of the Leningrad military district led by district commander Colonel-General Valentin Bobryshev is leaving for Stockholm on Monday, a spokesman for the district headquarters told the Military News Agency.

In the next five days, the delegation is expected to meet leaders of the Swedish Armed Forces and visit several defence industry enterprises and military units, the spokesman said. The visit takes place under the auspices of the bilateral military delegation exchange. The Swedish military coming to the Leningrad district will have a no less intensive itinerary that includes trips to military units and educational establishments as well as exchange of experience in combat training.
