PROGRESS-M1-5 PUT IN DESIGNED ORBIT

MOSCOW, February 26 (AVN) - The Soyuz-U medium booster lifted off the Progress-M1-5 spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome at 11.09 Moscow time (0809 GMT) on Monday, a spokesman for the Flight Control Centre told the Military News Agency.

At 11.18 Moscow time (0818 GMT), Progress-M1-5 reached the designed orbit with a maximum altitude of 245km, minimum altitude 193km, orbit time 88.59 min, and a 51.66-deg orbital inclination. The space transport will take over 2.5t of equipment, fuel, water and food to the International Space Station (ISS).

Docking with the ISS is scheduled for Wednesday.
