CHITA, Southern Siberia, March 11 (AVN) - A total of 20,000 servicemen of the Siberian military district have taken part in the Chechnya campaign, of which 145 have died, a spokesman for the district headquarters told the Military News Agency on Sunday.
Apart from units of the 74th motorised rifle brigade that are to be withdrawn soon, there are several special force units of the Siberian military district in Chechnya now, the spokesman said.
