MOSCOW, March 12 (AVN) - A column of 30 KamAZ trucks of the Emergencies Ministry will leave the town of Noginsk, Moscow region, for Ukraine's Uzhgorod on Tuesday, a ministry spokesman told the Military News Agency.
The column was urgently established following the order of the Russian government that authorised humanitarian aid for Trans-Carpathia region residents affected by a disastrous flood. The trucks will deliver over 150t of food, 2,500 blankets and needed equipment to the region. The column is expected in Uzhgorod late on Wednesday.
Establishment and departure of humanitarian columns to the region will continue in the future, the spokesman said.
