MOSCOW, March 12 (AVN) - The Russian Control Systems Agency board held an expanded session here on Monday, a spokesman for the agency's management told the Military News Agency.
The session was expected to sum up results of the radio electronic industry's activities in 2000 and discuss its tasks for 2001, the spokesman said.
The production volume of the agency's enterprises exceeded that of 1999 1.5 times. Production of military goods grew by over 35 percent and of civilian goods by almost 31 percent. The volume of export goods grew over 1.5 times to about USD580m.
The session started at 14.00 Moscow time (1100 GMT) and among its participants were Deputy Prime Minister Ilya Klebanov, Chief-of-Staff Anatoly Kvashnin, leaders and officials of law-enforcement agencies, Russian Academy of Sciences, defence industry bodies as well as the Agency's enterprises.
