MOSCOW, March 14 (AVN) - The 6th all Russian research and practical conference on risk management in emergency situations will take place here on March 20 and 21, a spokesman for the Emergencies Ministry said on Wednesday.
The conference will be chaired by Emergencies Minister Sergei Shoigu, the spokesman told the Military News Agency. Its organisers are the Emergencies Ministry, Ministry of Industry, Science and Technologies and Russian Academy of Sciences.
The event will involve R&D institutes of geoecology and science of machines, Institute of Operations Analysis of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Applied Mathematics, Federal Mining and Industry Inspection, Federal Nuclear and Radiation Security Inspection, State Committee on Construction and Housing, Transneft JS and LUKoil JS.
Participants of the conference are planning to discuss the latest methods of risk management in emergency situations, their social, economic and legal aspects, introduction of people's insurance from large-scale disasters and breakdowns and safety regulation at the atomic energy industry's installations.
