ST.PETERSBURG, April 3 (AVN) - The priority of the Aerospace Equipment interstate financial-industrial group now being set up is development and export of aircraft equipment, a spokesman for the Aerospace equipment Corporation JS told the Military News Agency on Tuesday.
The equipment is to be exported under the contracts signed by the Rosoboronexport state-run arms trader concerning supplies of SU-27 and SU-30 Flanker and MIG-29 Fulcrum planes and their modifications.
A Russian-Belarussian agreement to set up the Aerospace Equipment interstate financial-industrial group was signed at the session of the Supreme State Council of the Russian-Belarussian Union that was held in the Kremlin on Monday.
According to the data obtained by the Agency, the international holding will include the following enterprises of the Russian Aerospace Equipment Corporation, majoring in production of piloting/navigation systems and radars, autopilots and automatic control systems, and other on-board aircraft equipment: United Aircraft Instrument Engineering Consortium (St. Petersburg), St. Petersburg Plant of Precision Electromechanical Instruments, St. Petersburg Tavrichesky commercial bank, R&D centre of aircraft instrument engineering economics (St. Petersburg), Voskhod engineering plant JS (Pavlov, Nizhni Novgorod region), Electropribor JS (Voronezh), Impuls design bureau (Arzamas, Nizhni Novgorod region), and the central design bureau of automatic equipment (Omsk).
Belarussian enterprises that were included in the holding are the Ekran production association (Borisov, Minsk region) and Ivatsevichi instrument making plant (Brest region).
