STAVROPOL, April 4 (AVN) - Border guards of the North Caucasus regional department have detained four violators in the past 24 hours, a department spokesman told the Military News Agency on Wednesday.
Servicemen of the Adler-Avtodorozhnoye checkpoint detained an Abkhazian woman that produced an alien passport. A border guard patrol of the Yarag-Kazmalyar checkpoint found a man with no documents under the backseat while inspecting the PAZ bus. The violator who tried to enter Russia illegally is being identified. The Sochi border guard detachment detained two residents of the town of Gagry who crossed the Psou River on the Russia-Georgia border in an air-bag.
Patrols of the Caspian border guard detachment seized 109 boats, 103 engine boats, over 30 metres of net, over 21,000 hooks for fishing sturgeons and 11t of fish including 6.5t of sturgeons in March this year.
The overall situation in the area of responsibility of the North Caucasus regional border guard department remains calm with no attacks on outposts on the Chechen and adjacent border straps, the spokesman said.
