MOSCOW, April 5 (AVN) - Secretary of the Russian Security Council Vladimir Rushailo met Chechnya government chairman Stanislav Ilyasov in the Kremlin on Thursday to discuss restoration of the republic's economy and return to peaceful life in its towns and villages, a spokesman for the council administration told the Military News Agency.
On Wednesday, Rushailo discussed the same issues in detail with Chechnya administration chief Akhmad Kadyrov, the spokesman said.
Both meetings centred around the tasks allotted by President Vladimir Putin at a Security Council session in late March. The matters in question are the necessity to scale up efforts for peaceful life and economy restoration in Chechnya which was in distress after 10 years of illegal rule.
Rushailo and Kadyrov and Ilyasov exchanged opinions on top-priority spheres of activity aimed at implementation of the missions assigned by the president. The officials agreed that main attention should be paid to establishment of a strict command system and completion of personnel recruitment for the government administration.
Main efforts will be directed at restoration of the Chechen oil and gas industry and on comprehensive development of agriculture and social sphere, the spokesman said.
