KRASNODAR, North Caucasus, April 19 (AVN) - An L-39 training plane produced in the Check Republic and owned by the Defence Ministry aircraft unit stationed in the town of Tikhoretsk, the Krasnodar territory, crashed during the training flight on Thursday, a spokesman for the main police department of the territory told the Military News Agency.
Residents of the Novy Mir village of the Novopokrovsky district saw the plane crashing near the village. Later the plane blasted when the pilot ejected from the plane and after the landing was delivered to a road police strongpoint. The search group left for the crash site.
