KALININGRAD, April 24 (AVN) - A group of Baltic Fleet officers led by fleet commander Vice Admiral Vladimir Valuyev started results of the winter training period in the Leningrad naval base on Tuesday, a spokesman for the fleet headquarters told the Military News Agency.
The Leningrad base concentrates the main training, research and production potential of the fleet, the spokesman stressed.
After the inspection Valuyev will attend a training session to be held at the Naval Academy. The training will be supervised by Navy Commander Vladimir Kuroyedov.
