TAMBOV, Central European Russia, April 27 (AVN) - The local Signal JSC started batch production of the R-125B-2M (Belozor-2M) combined radio station intended for setting up radio, radio-relay and wire communication, Vitaly Machulin, technical adviser to the company's director general, said on Friday.
The station ensures communication with outer parties autonomously and as part of other mobile communication centres, Machulin told the Military News Agency. The station comprises the R-163-10K short-wave radio set (communication range 10km on the move and up to 300km at stopovers with special aerial), R-163-10V and R-163-10U ultra-short-wave radio sets (range 10 to 40km), and the R-415V radio-relay set (range up to 30km).
Besides, Belozor-2M has E-9U and E-24D conversation encoding devices, the device that ensures individual and circular signalling, the P-193M2 telephone commutator, channel and party commutation equipment, an electric battery and a charging and starting device. It can be fitted with SCh-4 navigation fixation device, R-438 satellite radio set and a signal and public-address system on the customer's request.
The radio station is mounted on the UAZ-37411 chassis. It is fed from a power take-off generator on the move and from an external battery or from 380V mains power supplies at stopovers.
According to Machulin, application of modern elements of the fourth generation expanded the station's capabilities and increased its protection from tapping.
