KHANKALA, April 28 (AVN) - A mine-clearing group was blown up by a radio-controlled landmine in the Prigorodnoye village near the Chechen capital Grozny while conducting engineering reconnaissance on Friday, a spokesman for the Interior Ministry department for Chechnya told the Military News Agency.
One sapper died and three were injured by the blast, the spokesman said.
Another blast took place in Argun where an explosive device went off on a sidetrack when the federal car was passing by. As a result one serviceman was heavily injured.
