KHANKALA, May 10 (AVN) - The state debt to military commandant's offices of Chechen districts and localities makes some RUR74m (USD2.55m), a spokesman for the unified federal headquarters in the North Caucasus said on Thursday.
The figure is mentioned in the Chechen chief military commandant's report to the federal group commander, the spokesman told the Military News Agency. According to the report, bonus payments for participation in combat have been delayed for six months and the debt is estimated at RUR48.5m (USD1.67m). Even current expenses amounting at almost RUR2.5m (USD86,302) are not financed.
Besides, servicemen of the commandant's offices have not received reimbursement for foodstuffs for a total of RUR23m (USD793,980).
