VORONEZH, South-western European Russia, May 18 (AVN) - A composite special force detachment of the Federal Security Service (FSB) department in the Voronezh region left for a service trip to Chechnya on Friday, a department spokesman told the Military News Agency.
The service trip will last for two months. The detachment will accomplish missions in the Shatoi district and celebrate there the 5th anniversary of its establishment.
This is the second service trip of the local special force officers to Chechnya. During the previous trip they found a cache of Chechen warlord Movladi Udugov with 150 videotapes filming tortures of Russian servicemen and seized the rebels' banner. The detachment has suffered no losses since its establishment, the spokesman stressed.
