Servicemen fired at the vehicle and killed its driver. An assault rifle with three full magazines wa found in the jeep. The driver had no ID.
A special group detained two people secretly filming the change of guard 200m away from the Interior Ministry troops picket in the Novy Sharoi village on Thursday evening, said the spokesman.
According to him, federals found a cache with arms, ammunition and a sack with 10 set of NATO uniform 1.5km from Urus-Martan. Interior Ministry troops sappers disarmed a landmine and a home-made explosive device controlled by radio 2km north of the Starye Atagi village. The device consisted of a cellophane pack with 6.5kg TNT, a fuse and injuring metal fragments.
