KAMOV COMPANY PROPOSES DEVELOPMENT OF NEW KA-32-10 HELI

UFA, Southern Urals, May 24 (AVN) - The Kamov company has elaborated technical proposals concerning development of the new helicopter with temporary designation KA-32-10, Kamov Constructor General Sergei Mikheyev said here on Thursday.

The new fighter can be designed, certified and put on serial production at the Kuretau aircraft plant in three years, Mikheyev told a conference of Russian oil producers.

According to data obtained by the Military News Agency, KA-32-10 is a thoroughly modernised variant of the KA-32 Helix helicopter, designed on the basis of the KA-27 Helix anti-submarine aircraft. It has an extended cabin for 24 passengers and a cargo capacity of 4t inside the fuselage and 7t on suspension. Its price will make USD3.8m to 4.5m.
