MOSCOW, June 14 (AVN) - The Rosoboronexport state-owned arms trading company will exhibit the latest developments of Russian defence industry enterprises at the 44th Paris Air Show in Le Bourget that opens on Friday, the company's press centre told the Military News Agency.
Rosoboronexport's bench will feature products of 36 enterprises, design bureaux and R&D institutes. In particular, almost all fighters of the SU family that are put up for export will be exhibited. Among them are SU-27SK Flanker, SU-30MK Flanker and SU-35 mutirole fighters, the SU-35UB combat and training plane and SU-33 deck fighters.
Specifications of the SU-30MK fighter match requirements for Generation 4+ planes. It carries the most up-to-date high-precision guided weapons and cat hit the entire spectrum of aerial, ground and naval targets.
Also to be exhibited on the bench is the new development of the Sukhoi design bureau, the SU-32 fighter-bomber, which embodies the bureau's latest achievements in enhancement of aircraft survivability. Rosoboronexport's bench will feature the plane's dummy cabin made of titanium alloys that provides reliable protection for the crew.
The MIG aircraft corporation and the Yakovlev design bureau will demonstrate MIG-AT and YAK-130 combat and training planes of a new generation. These aircraft, designed at the order of the Russian Air Force and foreign customers, will be exhibited on the ground and make several demonstration flights. Several modifications of MIG-AT and YAK-130 are being developed to be used as light fighters and attack planes.
The helicopter section will feature the MI-35M Hind aircraft, which is the export version of the MI-24 Hind transport and combat helicopter that is in serial production at the Rostvertol JS in Rostov-on-Don. Thanks to the latest avionics and night-vision devices, MI-35M can accomplish missions both in daytime and at night regardless of the weather.
Rosoboronexport's bench will feature a broad range of other defence-related products made by developers and manufacturers of aircraft engines, navigation systems and high-precision weapons. The Zvezda-Strela state-owned research and production centre, located in the town of Kaliningrad, Moscow region, will exhibit modern aviation anti-ship missiles, the Agat R&D Institute located in Moscow will put up homing warheads for aircraft missiles, the Ufa engine-building enterprise and Moscow's Lyulka-Saturn JS will demonstrate aircraft engines, the Machine-Building Research and Production Enterprise, located in the town of Reutov, Moscow region, will demonstrate spacecraft, communication satellites and ship-borne systems, while the Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant, located in Yekaterinburg, whill put up a broad spectrum of optic-electronic systems.
The Paris Air Show will end on June 24.
