MOSCOW, June 29 (AVN) - Russian Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov has nominated Lieutenant General Vladimir Zaritsky for commander of the Land Forces missile troops and artillery, a spokesman for the Defence Ministry human resources department told the Military News Agency on Friday.
Zaritsky is the commander of the Moscow military district missile troops and artillery and is considered by the General Staff and the troops to be one of the most authorised specialists in the sphere.
