VOLGOGRAD, Southern European Russia, July 11 (AVN) - The Volgograd electronic machine-building plant and local Ekotor ecological company developed modernised mobile systems for biological water purification in the field conditions with the efficiency of five to 1,000 cubic metres a day, the plant's director general Valery Kryukov said on Wednesday.
The system is mounted on a vehicle chassis, and the chassis' cargo capacity varies in accordance with the equipment set, Kryukov told the Military News Agency. For instance, the IMBO-250 module with the production volume of 250 cubic metres a day is made on the basis of the MAZ five-axis truck. The quality of purified water taken from the most polluted water reservoirs completely complies with national and international standards. With that the system purifies water with such quality that cannot be achieved with other technologies.
The system in comparison with the stationary one occupies 50 to 100 times smaller square and helps to turn down expenses at five to 10 times.
The system producers expect stable demand for the device from the Defence Ministry, Emergencies Ministry, other law-enforcement agencies as well as oil-engineers, gas-engineers and geologists.
