YEKATERINBURG, Middle Urals, July 23 (AVN) - The act on the disbandment of the Volga region department of the Emergencies Ministry headquartered in Samara is signed, a spokesman for the ministry's Ural regional department told the Military News Agency on Monday.
The Volga region department of the ministry is supposed to unite with the Ural department by late August. That is how the unification of the Emergencies Ministry departments will happen in accordance with the establishment of the new Volga-Ural military district. Lieutenant General Pyotr Tretyakov, head of the Ural department, is appointed head of the unified department headquartered here.
No reduction of the personnel will happen in the course of the departments unification, the spokesman said.
