MOSCOW, August 10 (AVN) - An IL-76 Candid plane with 300 paratroopers arrived at the Dyagilevo airfield in Ryazan from Tuzla, Bosnia, on Thursday evening, a spokesman for the airborne headquarters told the Military News Agency.
The arrival marked the end of operation on relocation of additional shift of Russian paratroopers for partial replacement of personnel of the 22nd separate paratrooper regiment which is the part of SFOR.
The plane made two flights airlifting some 300 servicemen to Bosnia and over 500 ones back to Russia. The replacement seems to be the last one for the airborne troops for the new rotation will happen with the Land Forces units, the spokesman said.
