SERVICEMEN CONFISCATE OVER 20 SMALL-ARMS PIECES IN KOSOVO FRIDAY

SLATINA, August 10 (AVN) - Patrol groups of the 11th, 12th and 13th separate paratrooper battalions of the Russian Military Contingent confiscated over 20 pieces of small arms and one grenade launcher from local residents of the Velica-Hocha, Kamenica and Malisevo villages on Friday, a spokesman for the contingent headquarters said.

The confiscated arsenal contains plastic explosives, the spokesman told the Military News Agency. The contingent control department also registered some 700 Slavs relocating from Kosovo to Bulgaria by 12.00 Moscow time (0800 GMT) on Friday. Every day 500 to 1,000 people leave the territory, the spokesman added.
