MOSCOW, August 16 (AVN) - A division-level command-post exercise of the 10th tank division organic of the Moscow military district will be hend from August 27 to 31, a spokesman for the district told the Military News Agency on Thursday.
The 10th division is headquartered in the town of Boguchar in the Voronezh region and headed by Colonel Ivan Buvaltsev. Commander of the 20th general army Lieutenant-General Sergei Makarov will supervise the training. The participants are to practise organisation of control over and interaction between regiments and the division headquarters with the Land Forces units for a special period.
Special attention will be paid to the work of commanders and headquarters in reception and distribution of mobilisation resources and equipment, carrying out combat adjustment of administration bodies and formations of the Interior Ministry, Federal Security Service and Emergency Ministry which are in command of the military during the special period.
Moscow military district commander Colonel-General Ivan Yefremov will watch the exercise.
