STAVROPOL, August 20 (AVN) - A trial of five residents of Karachayevo-Cherkessia accused of staging blasts in residential blocks in Moscow in autumn 1999 resumed here on Monday after a short break, a spokesman for the Stavropol territory's court told the Military News Agency.
The trial started in Stavropol on July 3. Charges are brought against five people - Aslan and Murat Bastanovs, Muratbi Tuganbayev, Taikan Frantsuzov and Muratbi Bairamukov. The hearings are being held at a labour camp. Reporters are not allowed to the courtroom. The court decided to suspend the process due to non-appearance of itnesses living in Ingushetia and Karachayevo-Cherkessia. Bailiffs must provide their appearance at the court session on Monday, said the spokesman.
