MOSCOW, August 20 (AVN) - Winners of the Gold Idea national prize will be able to get their prizes in Nomos-Bank starting from Monday, a spokesman for the bank board told the Military News Agency.
The Gold Idea Awards ceremony took place at the MAKS 2001 international aerospace show on August 18. The winners were to receive gold bars weighing 1kg to 100g, but the prizes were not delivered to the show area due to security reasons and peculiarities of gold turnover legislation in Russia.
Follows the list of the Gold Idea prize winners. Nomination "For Input into Development of Export-Oriented Products of Military Purpose: the Sukhoi aircraft design bureau (1st prize), Raduga machine-building design bureau (Dubna, Moscow region) (2nd prize), Machine-Building Design Bureau (Kolomna, Moscow region) (3rd prize).
Nomination "For Achievements in Production of Export-Oriented Products of Military Purpose": the Izhevsk electromechanical plant (1st prize), Komsomolsk-on-Amur aircraft production enterprise (KnAAPO) (2nd prize), Admiralteiskiye Verfi shipyard (St. Petersburg) (3rd prize).
Nomination "For Personal Input in Development of Military-Technical Co-operation (for initiative and diligence in achievement of military-technical co-operation tasks)": Mikhail Pechenkin, deputy director of the Region state-owned research and production enterprise, Alexander Lemansky, director general of the Almaz research and production enterprise, Mikhail Pogosyan, director general of the Sukhoi aircraft production enterprise.
Nomination "For Best Investment Project in the Sphere of Military Technical Co-operation": the Baltiysky Zavod Shipyard.
Besides, honorary diplomas were handed over to young specialists for their achievement in the sphere of military-technical co-operation, development and production of new arms and military equipment. The winners are Elena Kasatkina, junior researcher of the Region state-owned research and production enterprise, Vladimir Zotov, design engineer of the Splav state-owned research and production enterprise, Dmitry Pekshev, design engineer of the Sukhoi design bureau, Andrei Olin, design engineer of the Kupol electromechanical plant (Izhevsk, west of the Ural mountains), Igor Kulagin, chief specialist in the Defence Ministry main department of international military co-operation.
