EUROPEAN HELI FORUM TO TAKE PLACE IN MOSCOW SEPTEMBER 11-14

MOSCOW, August 21 (AVN) - The European Helicopter Forum will take place in Moscow from September 11 to 14, Veniamin Kasyanikov, deputy constructor general of the Kamov company, said on Tuesday.

As many as 93 speakers from France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Great Britain, Russia, the United States, Japan, South Korea and India have applied for participation in the forum, Kasyanikov told the Military News Agency.

The forum will start with a plenary session where military and civil specialists will discuss prospects of helicopter building in their country. It will be followed by panel discussions devoted to aerodynamics, flight tests, production technologies, etc.

The first forum took place in Great Britain in 1975. After that the forum was held, in particular, in France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands. Russia's Kamov and Mil companies have been participating in the forum since 1995 when it was held in St. Petersburg.

Kamov Constructor General Sergei Mikheyev has been elected president of the Moscow forum.
