FAR EASTERN SERVICEMEN UNDERGOING FINGERMARK REGISTRATION

KHABAROVSK, August 24 (AVN) - The Far Eastern military district has launched fingermark registration of its servicemen, Anatoly Suslov, engineer of the district's state fingermark registration group, told the Military News Agency on Friday.

Several dozens of such groups were formed to carry out the operation and each garrison has a responsible person who is to control the registration. Some 6,600 fingermarks of the district's servicemen have been added to the database.

Accumulated information is submitted to local information centres of the Khabarovsk territory police department and to the Interior Ministry information centre. The registration process which requires RUR2.9m (USD98,709) is to be completed by the end of the year.
