MOSCOW, August 27 (AVN) - Deep sea divers continued dismantling equipment and clearing the inter-hull space of the dead Kursk submarine's third compartment, a spokesman for the Navy Staff told the Military News Agency on Monday.
The weather at the recovery site allows the divers to accomplish their complicated tasks, the spokesman said. The wind strength in the area is 6m/s while the sea swell is no more than two points.
The Giant-4 barge of the Netherlands left Amsterdam and is expected to arrive in the Barents Sea by the beginning of the of the Kursk lifting.
