KALININGRAD, August 28 (AVN) - Power supplies to several houses and military installations of the Baltic Fleet's main base in the town of Baltijsk were restored on Tuesday after a recent storm, Colonel Anatoly Lobsky, official of the fleet command, told the Military News Agency.
The storm caused no damages or victims in the fleet, Lobsky said. Disruption of the coastal electric wire did not affect the duty service on vessels, as they immediately switched to reserve power sources. In spite of the strong wind which reached 25 m/s no accidents were registered in the vessels' stationing areas.
According to Lobsky, power lines restoration will be mainly completed by the end of the day.
