POLICEMEN SERVING IN CHECHNYA TO GET FOODSTUFFS FROM SOUTH-WESTERN RUSSIA

VORONEZH, South-western European Russia, August 28 (AVN) - A large amount of foodstuffs will soon be delivered to the stationing areas of the Voronezh regional police department's composite unit, as well as to policemen of the city and regional anti-mafia quick response departments who are on a service trip in Chechnya, a spokesman for the regional police department said on Tuesday.

The foodstuffs including flour, sugar, vegetable oil, grain, canned fish and meat, mineral water, other products and tobacco will be supplied from the regional administration's reserve fund, the spokesman told the Military News Agency.

Currently almost 200 policemen from the region are undergoing military service in various police units and temporary police departments in Chechnya.
