Russian border guards engage two violators on Tajik-Afghan frontier

DUSHANBE. Sept 12 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian border guards on the Tajikistan-Afghanistan frontier engaged two armed violators coming from Afghanistan in the mountains controlled by the Moscow detachment overnight to Wednesday, a spokesman for the Russian border guard group in Tajikistan told Interfax-Military News Agency.

The violators refused to obey demands of border guards, opened fire and returned to Afghanistan. No casualties were registered among the border guards. A rubber boat was found during the search of the area.
