MOSCOW. Sept 25 (Interfax-AVN) - The main Federal Tax Police department for the Central Federal District has recently discovered 65 businesses that are suspected of financing rebel groups in Chechnya, Vladimir Senin, the head of the Federal Tax Police's main department for the Central Federal District, told a Tuesday briefing.
The tax police have shared information indicating that these businesses (located in the Central Federal District, including the town of Kostroma) may be involved in the financing of rebel groups, with the Federal Security Service and the Interior Ministry.
