MOSCOW. Oct 2 (Interfax-AVN) - Officials of 30 member nations of the OSCE travelled to the aviation garrison stationed in the Kubinka village in the Moscow region on Tuesday, a spokesman for the Defence Ministry national centre on nuclear danger reduction said.
The delegation is accompanied by the centre's chief Major General Nikolai Artyukhin and Foreign Ministry officials, the spokesman told Interfax-Military News Agency. Colonel Anatoly Omelchenko, commander of the Marshal Ivan Kozhedub 237th aircraft exhibition centre, showed the delegation around the centre and briefed it on the aircraft in the inventory of the Russian Air Force, including MIG-29 Fulcrum, SU-27 Flanker planes and KA-50 Hokum helicopters. In addition to that, the foreign officials studies training peculiarities of Strizhi and Russkiye Vityazi aerobatics teams.
Pilots of these teams will perform demonstration flights on MIG-29 and SU-27 planes later on Tuesday.
The delegation is planning to visit the 27th Sevastopol separate motorised rifle brigade and the training centre of the Moscow military district located in the Alabino village in the Moscow region on Wednesday.
