DUSHANBE. Oct 10 (Interfax-AVN) - Afghan President Burhanuddin Rabbani has voiced full support for the U.S. government in its resistance to terrorism.
He made the announcement on Wednesday after his meeting with Tajik President Emomali Rakhmonov in Dushanbe.
Rabbani told reporters he had come to Dushanbe at the personal invitation of the Tajik leader.
During the meeting, which lasted for about two hours behind closed doors, the sides discussed a wide range of questions related to the situation in Afghanistan, security in Central Asia and resistance to international terrorism.
Rabbani said he was satisfied with his meeting with Rakhmonov.
