STAVROPOL. Oct 19 (Interfax-AVN) - The Stavropol territory court has by Friday questioned five victims of the Chechen guerrilla raid on the town of Budyonnovsk, a court spokesman told Interfax-Military News Agency.
The court is planning to question about 2,000 residents of Budyonnovsk, a town in the Stavropol territory who suffered from the raid led by warlord Shamil Basayev. Summons have been handed over to all the victims and witnesses. Nobody refused to show up in the court, even though they have to go from Bydyonnovsk to Stavropol on their own.
Court sessions will continue for two weeks without any breaks. They are held behind closed doors at the request of the victims.
