VORONEZH, South-western European Russia. Oct 25 (Interfax-AVN) - A delegation of Italian industrialists led by head of the Merloni company Antonio Merloni has arrived in the Voronezh region, a spokesman for the regional administration's foreign relations department told Interfax-Military News Agency on Thursday.
The delegation will visit several defence industry enterprises, in particular, VASO, Elektrosignal, the Voronezh radio devices plant and VELT, and will study their abilities to manufacture household appliances and other devices using free productiuon facilities. A preliminary agreement on establishment of a joint venture has been reached by Merloni company and the regional administration.
The delegation's visit to the region takes place in the framework of the region's investments attraction programme.
