TBILISI. Nov 1 (Interfax-AVN) - Georgian army units will leave the Kodori gorge in the zone of conflict with Abkhazia "only after a political decision to that effect is taken," Georgian Defense Minister David Tevzadze told the press on Thursday.
The units are staying in the Kodori gorge to protect local civilians from possible attacks by Abkhazian separatists, and "they will remain there for now," the minister said.
