MOSCOW. Nov 2 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov and U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, who is due to arrive in Moscow for an official visit, will meet on Saturday afternoon.
Ivanov and Rumsfeld will "discuss a wide range of issues in the context of the U.S. anti-terrorist operation in Afghanistan," the Russian Defense Ministry press service reported.
Moreover, they will focus on "strategic stability issues linked to the 1972 ABM Treaty and strategic offensive weapons," the service said.
