DUSHANBE. Nov 13 (Interfax-AVN) - The Northern Alliance in Afghanistan entered Kabul at about 7 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), the Afghan ambassador to Tajikistan Sayed Ibrahim Hikmat has told Interfax.
He said troops of the anti-Taliban coalition entered the Afghan capital from Khairkhana pass and Bagram military airdrome.
He said the anti-Taliban coalition currently controls over 50% of Afghan territory. He said the military operation to neutralize and destroy Taliban as a military-political force continues energetically.
