TASHKENT. Nov 21 (Interfax-AVN) - The United States' objective is to destroy the Al-Qaida terrorist organization, head of the U.S. Central Command Tommy Franks told a news conference in Tashkent on Wednesday.
Al-Qaida has branched out into 50 to 60 countries. Franks does not rule out that in pursuit of terrorists and those who inspire them, the United States will launch military actions in other countries.
