Russia's military-technical cooperation committee finalizing export plans for 2002

MOSCOW. November 21 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian committee on international military and technical co-operation is holding a series of conferences with other organisation taking parts in military and technical cooperation to finalize military-purpose export plans for 2002, a committee spokesman said on Wednesday.

Participants in the conferences are considering the state of military-technical cooperation and summing up preliminary results of implementation of the military-purpose export plan this year, the spokesman told Interfax-Military News Agency.

"The conferences aim to check true capabilities of export plan implementation in 2001 and expose problems that need to be solved in the course of further foreign economic activity of organisations taking part in the military-technical cooperation," the spokesman said.
