Chinese military delegation ends visit to Belarus

MINSK. Nov 23 (Interfax-AVN) - A delegation of the main political department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army completed its five-day visit to Belarus on Friday, the Belarussian Defense Ministry press service reported.

The main aim of the visit was to study political and information work with the Belarussian Armed Forces personnel. The delegation met Defense Minister Leonid Maltsev, visited the 61st fighter aircraft base, 120th guard motorized rifle division and Minsk-based Suvorov military college. During the visit to the Belarussian Military Academy the delegation met cadets from China.

Summing up results of the visit, the delegation's leader Major General Sun Runtong expressed his satisfaction with the high level of relations that are being developed between the Chinese and Belarussian Defense Ministries in all spheres.
