Land Forces command to hear reports on troops preparation for new training year

MOSCOW. Nov 27 (Interfax-AVN) - Chiefs of military branches, main departments and services will report to the Land Forces command on Tuesday on preparation of subordinate troops for the new training year which is to begin on December 1, a competent source in the command said.

The reports will be heard by Land Forces Commander and Deputy Defense Minister Colonel General Nikolai Kormiltsev, the source told Interfax-Military News Agency.

The chiefs are making the reports to coordinate supervision and control of combat and mobilisation readiness training in the new training year.

Lieutenant General Alexander Morozov, chief-of-staff of the Land Forces, Lieutenant General Alexander Skorodumov, chief of the Armed Forces department on combat training, Lieutenant General Vladimir Zaritsky, chief of the Armed Forces missile troops and artillery, and other chiefs.

The hearing participants will sum up preliminary results of the Land Forces command establishment which is to have been completed by December 1 this year.
