MOSCOW. Nov 27 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said it is necessary to discuss all issues connected with Russia's preparedness for mobilization.
Putin said at the Russian Security Council session in the Kremlin on Tuesday that this concerns not only "the condition and preparedness of the army, but also specifying the country's economic and resource base in the case of a potential danger."
"This concerns the reliability of all systems of state defense administration," the president said.
Putin said that there is no need to see something special in this discussion. "Nothing extraordinary is happening, but one should do such seemingly routine things in a timely fashion," the president said.
