MOSCOW. Jan 4 (Interfax-AVN) - Gennady Seleznyov, speaker of the State Duma lower house of Russian parliament, will visit the headquarters of the 201st Russian motorized rifle division in Tajikistan on Friday, a spokesman for the Defense Ministry told Interfax-Military News Agency.
The itinerary of the speaker's visit includes negotiations with the Tajik government and work in the 201st division headquarters where Seleznyov is to hear report of division commander Colonel Yuri Perminov. Besides, the speaker is expected to visit a motorized rifle regiment stationed in a Dushanbe suburb.
The division's units located in the Kulyab and Kurgan-Tyube will also be ready for Seleznyov's visit.
